I stand alone...

So many times there is a lot of pressure put on people, pressure to fit in with the crowd. You must wear this, watch that, listen to this in order to fit in. Everybody is caught up in the race to be in with everyone else. Maybe we should step back and look at everything that God has made for an example.


A tree does not strive to be as every other tree. It stands on its own, digs it own roots, and produces its own beautiful foliage. Some trees look ridiculous, they are all twisty and turny and sometimes are completely bare, just like the one in the picture. But how could that picture have been taken, and look so wonderful, without that different tree? Every difference is beautiful, every flaw you think that you possess only adds to the wonder of God that is you. Don't you think that we should appreciate that?

If you try to fit in, you will never stand out.
